Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 18 June 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") sets out what you may and may not do when using the Klipt video generation service (the "Service") operated by Klipt ("Klipt", "we", "us"). It forms part of our Terms of Service. We may update this Policy from time to time.
1. Your responsibility for inputs and output
The Service generates video from material you provide, including content read from URLs you submit. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use that material and the resulting video. You must not ask the Service to process brand assets, logos, images, or text that you do not own or are not authorized to use.
2. Prohibited content
You must not use the Service to create, upload, or distribute content that:
- infringes intellectual property, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights;
- impersonates a person, brand, or organization, or falsely suggests endorsement or affiliation;
- is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or incites violence or discrimination;
- is sexually explicit, depicts minors inappropriately, or is otherwise exploitative;
- promotes illegal goods or services, fraud, scams, or deceptive financial schemes;
- contains malware, or facilitates phishing or other security attacks;
- constitutes misleading advertising or violates consumer-protection or advertising law;
- creates deceptive synthetic media ("deepfakes") of real people without consent, or is designed to deceive about its origin where the law requires disclosure.
3. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- attempt to bypass usage limits, credit accounting, or the watermark other than through the paid removal feature;
- reverse engineer, scrape, or probe the Service except as permitted by law;
- interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, including our hosting and provider systems;
- use automated means to abuse the Service or resell access without our written permission;
- use the Service to violate the terms of any third-party website whose content you submit;
- use the Service in violation of export controls, sanctions, or other applicable law.
4. AI-specific obligations
Because Output is produced by automated AI models, you agree to review every script and rendered video before publishing it, and to verify that any claims, names, statistics, or representations in the video are accurate and lawful. You are responsible for adding any disclosures required by law when publishing AI-generated content.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, throttle or suspend access, or terminate accounts that breach this Policy. Where we reasonably believe content is illegal or poses a security or legal risk, we may act without prior notice and may report it to authorities. Credits consumed before a violation-related suspension are not refunded; non-expiring unused credits remain subject to the Refund Policy.
6. Reporting abuse
