Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when Klipt ("Klipt", "we", "us") refunds or restores credits for the Klipt video generation service (the "Service"). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
1. How credits work
The Service runs on prepaid credits. One credit normally produces one video; removing the watermark consumes an additional fractional credit. A credit is consumed when a render job completes successfully and your video is delivered.
Credits do not expire. Once purchased, they remain available in your account until used, regardless of how much time passes.
2. Failed renders are not charged
If a render fails on our side and we cannot deliver a usable video, you are not charged for that attempt. If a credit was provisionally deducted, we automatically restore it to your balance. If for any reason a failed render leaves your balance short, contact us at hello@klipt-ai.com and we will restore the affected credit promptly.
A "failed render" means the Service was unable to produce the video due to an error in our pipeline or infrastructure. It does not include videos that rendered successfully but that you simply do not like (see Section 4).
3. Refunds on unused credit packs
Because credits never expire, you can keep them indefinitely instead of requesting a refund. If you would still prefer a refund of credits you have purchased but not yet used, contact hello@klipt-ai.com. We will refund unused credits from a recent purchase to your original payment method, less any portion already consumed. Refunds are issued through Stripe and may take several business days to appear.
We may decline refunds where we reasonably believe a request is fraudulent or abusive.
4. Successful renders and dissatisfaction
Output is generated by automated AI models and you approve the script before rendering. A video that renders successfully consumes its credit even if the result does not match your expectations. We are not able to refund a credit because you dislike the style, wording, voice, or creative outcome of a completed video.
If you believe a delivered video is defective—for example, corrupted, incomplete, or materially different from the script you approved—contact hello@klipt-ai.com with your job reference. If we confirm the defect is on our side, we will re-render it or restore the credit.
5. Statutory consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with a statutory right of withdrawal, that right may apply to digital purchases. Where you ask us to begin generating a video immediately and the work is performed, you may lose the right of withdrawal for that consumed credit, as permitted by law. Nothing in this Policy limits mandatory consumer protections in France or your country of residence.
6. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at hello@klipt-ai.com so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending review.
