Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 8 October 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") sets out what Clients may and may not direct the Klipt Studio service to create or publish. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to anything a Client approves, edits, requests, or allows to be published via autopilot.
1. Your responsibility
You are responsible for everything published to your connected accounts, whether approved explicitly or by non-response under autopilot. You must have the right to use any Client Media, brand asset, name, or claim you ask us to incorporate.
2. Prohibited content
You must not use the Service to create or publish content that:
- infringes intellectual property, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights of any person or organization;
- impersonates a real person or organization, or falsely implies an endorsement or affiliation;
- is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or incites violence or discrimination;
- is sexually explicit, or depicts or sexualizes minors in any way;
- promotes illegal goods, services, or activity, or constitutes fraud, a scam, or a deceptive financial scheme;
- makes misleading or unsubstantiated claims in violation of consumer-protection or advertising law (including health, financial, or "before/after" claims you cannot support);
- creates a realistic synthetic depiction ("deepfake") of a real, identifiable person without that person's consent;
- is designed to evade the AI-content labelling described in our AI Transparency page where such labelling is legally required;
- would violate the terms of service, community guidelines, or advertising policies of the destination platform (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest, YouTube, or any other network you connect).
3. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- use the Service to artificially inflate engagement (fake followers, bots, engagement pods, or comment/like manipulation) on any platform;
- attempt to bypass usage limits, approval controls, or AI-content labelling;
- share your account credentials or connected-account access with anyone not authorized by your organization, or use the Service to publish on an account you do not control;
- interfere with, overload, or attempt to reverse-engineer the Service or its infrastructure;
- resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to a third party without our written permission;
- use the Service in violation of export control, trade sanctions, or other applicable law.
4. Your role in reviewing AI-assisted output
Because drafts and media are produced with AI assistance, you agree to review content before approving it (or to accept the consequences of autopilot mode, see Terms Section 5), and to verify that any factual claim, statistic, price, or representation is accurate before it is published.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may decline to publish, remove, or hold content, or suspend or terminate access, as described in our Terms of Service Section 15. Where we reasonably believe content is illegal or creates serious legal or safety risk, we may act without prior notice and may report it to the relevant authority or platform.
