Data deletion
Last updated: 15 October 2026
You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time. This page explains how, what is deleted and when. It covers the Klipt Studio portal and the WhatsApp channel. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. How to request deletion
- Delete a whole workspace (owners). In the portal, go to Settings → Data & privacy → Delete this workspace, and type the workspace name to confirm. Posting stops immediately and the workspace is frozen. You can export everything first from the same page ("Export your data").
- Delete your WhatsApp data, or any personal data we hold about you. Write to contact@klipt-ai.com from the e-mail address of your account, or tell us the WhatsApp number you used. Put "Data deletion" in the subject. We may ask you to confirm it is you before acting.
- Just stop the WhatsApp messages. Reply STOP in the WhatsApp conversation, or press Disconnect in Settings → WhatsApp. This stops all messages at once; it does not by itself erase what was already stored. Use one of the two options above for that.
2. What is deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Account, brand profile, posts and versions, conversations, ideas, results | deleted |
| Photos, videos and files, including those sent through WhatsApp | deleted |
| WhatsApp contact record (number or WhatsApp identifier, profile name, preferences), WhatsApp messages and voice notes | deleted |
| Invoices and payment records | kept for the period the law requires (accounting and tax), then deleted |
| Security and audit logs | kept for the limited period needed for security, without message content |
3. When
- Workspace deletion: the workspace is frozen at once and everything is permanently deleted after 30 days. You can change your mind until then by writing to us.
- E-mail request: we act within 30 days of confirming your identity, and tell you when it is done.
- Copies: copies in backups leave on our normal rotation schedule, described in our Data Processing Agreement.
4. What we cannot delete for you
Messages already on your own phone, and any copy Meta keeps under its own terms, are outside our control. You can delete the conversation from your WhatsApp app, and ask Meta directly through WhatsApp's own privacy tools. Posts already published on your social accounts belong to those accounts: delete them there.
5. Contact
contact@klipt-ai.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
